As a French architect and artist based on the Riviera, my work stems from a profound dialogue between nature, science, and the human spirit. I approach creation as a quest for absolute balance between structure and emotion, precision and freedom. Through paintings, sculptures, and bas-reliefs inspired by surrealism and symbolism, I explore the invisible links between organic forms and cycles of transformation. By blurring the boundaries between volume and surface, my compositions acquire a living, sensory presence—creating art that is not merely meant to be looked at, but deeply felt.
Svitlana Messali is an accomplished architect and artist based on the French Riviera, known for her profound knowledge of fine arts and architecture. Her creative journey is backed by 16 years of rigorous academic training. In 1991, she graduated with a degree in architecture and art from the Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDA), the State University of the Republic of Lithuania. During her studies, she had the privilege of training under renowned mentors, including professors and architects Algimantas Nasvytis and Algimantas Mačiulis, as well as the prominent artist and academician Kazys Morkūnas.
Messali is an official member of "La Maison des artistes",
the French National Association of Visual Artists. Alongside her architectural practice, she designs custom art objects, paintings, and bas-reliefs tailored to enhance interior spaces. Her designs are celebrated for bringing a sense of harmony, aesthetics, and structural purity to contemporary living spaces.
